The initiative
Justin and the We Can’t Wait team headed to Nasik, India for a 10 day assignment to rebuild toilet and sanitation facilities at Jila Parishad Prathamik School. The majority of Indian children are missing out on an education due to the lack of usable toilets. With the help of Justin and the We Can’t Wait team, the project has helped improve health and sanitation standards, keeping the students at school for longer.
India
Our main goal is to give the children at these rural schools a future.
Meet Justin
Justin Morris from Notting Hill, Victoria was granted $15,000 for his submission to improve India’s complex sanitation issues. For his project, Justin partnered with the We Can’t Wait foundation and put the money towards the construction of toilet facilities and sanitation education in schools in Nasik, India. The father of four was thrilled to dedicate the Reece Grant to help students (some the same age as his own) complete their education and teach them the importance of proper sanitation.
