The initiative
For millions of people across Cambodia, accessing proper toilet facilities is impossible. David McNulty wants to change that. Collaborating with the Cambodian charity Heartprint, the project includes installing 20 public toilets throughout Siem Reap. Housing these toilets in individual outbuildings makes access easier, and also lets them be used as change rooms for community members. New facilities will reduce the spread of disease and stop groundwater contamination, giving over 200 people access to toilets for the first time.
Cambodia
These people have been through some terrible times, and access to proper toilets will really improve their quality of life.
