A New hope for Nepal

The initiative

The Kathmandu valley in Nepal suffered major damage from the earthquake in 2015. Andrew’s project aided a local primary school, Thangpal Dhap, by installing a new toilet block, hand washing facilities, a septic tank and an effluent trench. The program was supported by charity group Healthabitat, and has helped to reduce disease and dangerous infections caused by dirty water by improving water sanitation. Together, they hope to improve the long-term health of students and increase school attendance.

Kathmandu Valley,
We're making a lot of difference to the general health in the school and wider community.
